Introduction to Vehicle Wrapping
While only intended as an introduction to wrapping, this three day class will help jump start your journey into the exciting field of vehicle wrapping. Course instruction and pricing is optimized for five people per session. The class is held at Rob Ivers, Inc. in Raymore, MO (Greater Kansas City, MO). Here is a brief overview:

Layout, Design and Production Tips

• Taking measurements, using digital photos, and vehicle templates
• What to tell clients before taking the job
• Common designs errors to avoid
• Choosing horizontal or vertical paneling
• How much overlap to use for different job types - and why
• Solvent curing prior to lamination
• Trimming, checking, storage, and shipping of graphic panels

Wrap Training

• Inspecting the vehicle for problem areas
• Removing hardware and emblems as needed
• Properly and thoroughly cleaning the vehicle
• Installing graphic panels over flat and simple curve shapes with no stretching
• Installing graphics over complex curve shapes with absolute minimum stretching
• Learn different trimmimg techniques necessary for adhesion and aesthetics
• Post-heating complex curve areas
• Finishing and check your work to avoid costly warranty claims


Complete Vehicle Wrap
• Final cleaning
• Planning the wrap, pre-aligning and marking of panels
• “Dry” fitting graphics to vehicle, alignment of graphic panels
• Help install a complete vehicle wrap

Recommended for:
Intermediate level installers with several years vinyl experience. Competence in flat graphic installation is suggested, preferably PDAA Basic Certified. Beginners are encouraged to complete the Basic Certification Primer Course before taking this class.

Tools: You do not need to bring anything, we provide all of the tools required for the training. You will receive some complimentary tools and others will be available for purchase. Each person will also receive a list of sources to purchase all of the tools Rob uses and recommends.

Payment and registration:
Cost is $1,800 per person. To provide this level of expert hands-on training at the affordable advertised prices, requires five people in a class, registered and paid in full, three weeks in advance.

We reserve the right to cancel any sessions if our minimum attendance requirements are not met. Should it be necessary to cancel a session, you will be given the option of an immediate and full refund or to apply your payment to a future session. If you have any questions, please contact us.
